It’s been a while since we’ve said hello, and for that, we apologize. We hope that you’ve been well. I’d like to update you on all the happenings of our lives.
First of all, Incredible Shrinking Boy still lives, but the wind has blown us all in different directions. When that happened, Ivan and I found each other and teamed up to create a brand new project!
What’s the name of our new band, you may ask? Well, this blog entry is so important for that very reason! We would love to have YOUR ideas for band names. It’s not that we aren’t imaginative enough to come up with a band name ourselves. In fact, we’ve been throwing around quite a few ideas lately, but we think it would be way cooler to choose a name that YOU come up with. Below is a list of over 70 names people have come up with so far!
To give you a brief description, we are a two-piece band. There is no lead singer or songwriter, as Ivan and I share the duties of singing and songwriting. You will no longer see or hear an electric guitar either. Paul has gone 100% acoustic. But, be warned that his acoustic guitar recently traveled to outer space, and came back sounding a bit different than it has before. Ivan’s drum kit also traveled to space with Paul's acoustic guitar, but came back as a hybrid of electronic and acoustic drums. Weird…we know.

Actually, this post has nothing to do with Valentine's Day, but we called it ISB Valentine because Valentine's day is only 3 days away! YAY! Well, the boys of ISB are currently working on a side project, which is why you haven't seen much news on this Incredible Shrinking Page lately. We are trying to grow up and learn to collaborate more effectively, and it's been an exciting journey. Certainly, we will keep you posted with all that is new and exciting! Now, go hug your lover!
Howdy there! It's almost Christmas here and we ISB boys are shopping and wrapping gifts. We hope you're having a restful holiday season. Hope you enjoy our lil' Christmas diddy we wrote. Happy Holidays once again!
Oh, it's cold...like, REALLY cold! This is probably the coldest October we can ever remember in Chicago...soooo, it makes us think about global warming... and it's a bit unsettling to be honest.
So, ISB has been practicing hard. We've been writing new music...we feel our most current song is a hybrid of genres...so, since it has no title at the moment, we're just calling it our Quentin Tarantino Western Gothic Song. We have 6 new songs total at the moment, so stay tuned.
Paul had a burst of creative energy recently and started making an animated music video for Rise to the Clouds, so stay on the look out for that. Stay warm!!!! Well, if you're in Florida or California or Arizona or ...or....well...you might already be warm...but if you're cold, try to stay warm! Talk soon!
Good question! Things are changing....in many ways....we are trying a new approach to our way of doing things as a band...as of now, we're writing new music. We'll be in touch. Hope all is well. This summer was ridiculously cold...Paul has a cold right now and it's annoying because it's still summer. Happy Labor Day weekend!

The alien thing will be revealed to you later - don't be alarmed! Aliens have feelings, just as we do. We are simply happy to have been invited to perform Chicago's renowned MOBfest again this year. By the way, our performance this year is at Fiesta Cantina in Wrigleyville, which is at 3407 N Clark, Chicago, IL. They have killer margaritas, and a beaming station to beam you up to the second floor where the actual music will go down. The show begins at 9pm and there are 3 other great acts performing that night.
